Full Story:
People often say love is about romance, flowers, and candlelight dinners. But one funny story about a young couple recently proved that real love sometimes looks a little… different.
Meet Nila and her boyfriend Arif. Among their friends, they are known as the “funniest couple,” because almost every day something ridiculous happens between them.
One evening, Nila called Arif with a very sweet voice.
“Can you come meet me?” she asked.
Arif immediately became excited. “Of course! Where?”
“Near the park. And bring some snacks,” Nila added.
Arif arrived 20 minutes later carrying a bag full of chips, juice, and chocolates. He imagined a romantic evening walk, maybe a few cute photos together.
But the moment he arrived, he realized something unexpected.
Nila was sitting on a bench looking extremely tired.
“What happened?” Arif asked.
Nila sighed dramatically. “Today was a very long day.”
Arif sat beside her and offered the snacks.
But just as he was about to relax, Nila suddenly pointed toward the nearby food stall and said,
“Actually… I’m craving something else too.”
Arif blinked. “What?”
“Spicy noodles.”
Without hesitation, Arif stood up and went to buy noodles.
When he returned, Nila happily started eating while Arif watched patiently.
A few minutes later she said,
“You know what would make this perfect?”
Arif already knew the answer. “What now?”
“Ice cream.”
Arif looked at the sky for a moment like he was asking the universe for strength. Then he laughed and walked toward the ice cream shop.
Nearby, two teenagers watching the scene whispered to each other.
“Bro, look at that guy.”
“What about him?”
“That… is real love.”
Arif came back with ice cream and handed it to Nila.
She smiled warmly and said,
“You’re the best.”
Then she suddenly offered him the first spoon of ice cream.
Arif laughed. “After making me run around the park three times, now you share?”
Nila shrugged playfully. “Sharing is caring.”
Later that night, Arif posted a funny status online:
‘People ask what true love looks like… It looks like buying snacks, noodles, and ice cream in one evening.’ 😂
His friends quickly filled the comment section with jokes.
One friend wrote,
“Brother achieved Level 100 boyfriend.”
Another commented,
“Love = unlimited food delivery.”
Nila replied under the post:
‘He complains, but he still buys everything.’ 😜
In the end, both of them laughed about the whole situation.
Because sometimes love isn’t about big romantic gestures.
Sometimes it’s simply about showing up, being patient, and buying one more snack when your partner asks for it.
And according to Arif,
“If she’s happy… then yes, this is exactly what love looks like.” 😂
